Our first product streamlines professional basketball training, putting elite work into the hands of every aspiring athlete. By creating the first portable basketball training machine, GRIND capture a player’s rebounds, passes the ball back (emulating a game-like pass), and allows players to shoot up to 1,200 shots per hour. 


As a Creative Director at GRIND, you will be responsible for for the development and implementation of GRIND’s visual representation of our Brand’s identity across all channels (direct to consumer, retail, social media, content sites, physical product). Own the end-to-end visual design responsibility across the lifecycle of the customer experience—acquisition, conversion, retention. Collaborate with our Marketing Ambassador to offer the most beautiful experience for our customers across all brands, including print design, logo development, industrial design, web / mobile app design, and retail design.


Relevant experience:

  • Strong understanding of athletic industry trends.

  • Proficient with creative tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, ect.

  • Experience performing or managing a range of creative positions, such as graphic designer, art director and copywriter is important.

  • Stellar communication, problem-solving and project management skills too.

  • Ability to inspire creativity and work well with different personality types — all while juggling various projects.

  • Collaborate with Marketing Ambassador to offer the most beautiful experience for the athletic community with our brand, including print design, logo development, industrial design, web / mobile app design, and packaging.

  • Establish brand style and voice and translate this into marketing content.

  • Work closely with CEO to develop creative programs and design concepts to advance the brand strategy.

  • Maintains high level of craft in everything the brand produces, whether for consumers or internal.

  • Ensures consistent brand vocabulary in all materials. Responsible for ensuring design collections support the brand’s short-term and long-term strategies.

  • Actively source new materials, methods and innovative product design forms that support the brand’s heritage and mission.

  • Partnering with the Visual Merchandising team in the development of trend related events, backstage lounges, pops-up events, and special events.

  • Lead photo shoots and video shoots to ensure accurate visual, content and align with approved creative direction for Social Channels.

  • Keep all information organized and easily understandable for transparent communication within the organization.
