General Information

We currently do not keep track of made and missed shots. Stay tuned for our iOS App which will have this feature.

No, the GRIND machine rotates manually and passes to 5 spots on the court (top of the key, free throw line extended, both corners). There is a small lever on the base that is used to change spots.

Height- Rim must be 10 feet off the ground

Backboard width- High School, NCAA, NBA, FIBA Regulation backboard; 6 feet wide

Also can be used with backboard widths 44in and up

The machine works best with basketball goals that have space between the goal and pole that hold the backboard up 

The GRIND Machine is currently powered by a U.S. standard electrical outlet and is not battery powered. An extension cord will need to be purchased by a third party. 

If you would like to purchase a battery, this one on Amazon is compatible

 

 

The GRIND machine can comfortably use two balls at a time to reach 1,000 shots per hour. We don't recommend more than 3, even though it is possible.

The weight of the GRIND Machine is approximately 110 lbs. It folds into a duffel bag with two wheels for easy transportation and storage.

When transporting the GRIND Machine in your vehicle, it may require two people to assist with loading and unloading.

Yes, there will be a small amount of assembly required to use the machine. Instructions will be included with the machine and video instructions will be available on YouTube.

Yes, the GRIND machine is built with electrical components that should be kept out of the rain/sleet/snow etc. 

The GRIND machine is safe to use for athletes 8 and up. We do reccomend adult supervision from 8 - 13 year olds to make sure they understand how to safely use the machine.

Please inspect your new product immediately upon arrival. If there are concerns with the shipping box or materials, or if you have any other concerns regarding your shipment, please email us at info@grindbasketball.com within 24 hours. 

We are not responsible for late deliveries due to incorrect addresses, weather, or events beyond our control. GRIND hires a third-party for delivery. If products are sent back to GRIND as a result of an incorrect address provided by the customer, the customer will be responsible for the shipping costs related to the return and reshipment.

If you purchased a GRIND Machine, shipping is flat rate. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico is available for an extra fee. Please contact us to discuss.

A machine that can be exchanged, must be packaged in its original box. In most cases, shipping can be arranged to pickup the box from a specified address. Once the carrier scans your return, our system will set up your exchange to be sent to your address and you will receive a confirmation from one our team members.

The GRIND Machine works best with size 7 (29.5" men's basketball), and size 6 (28.5" boys/girls/women's basketball). Basketballs that are smaller than this will release from the machine at a much greater force than normal. We also don't recommend larger basketballs as they may get stuck in the funnel.

The GRIND Machine cost $2,395.00 before tax. Shipping is free and you may also qualify for payment plans starting as low as $107 a month with Affirm. 

Returns & Warranty

Yes, if you need to cancel your order BEFORE shipping, GRIND will refund your purchase less a 3% transaction fee. A refund can take up to 10 business days to be credited back to your account. 

A machine can ONLY be exchanged if it is broken and cannot be fixed. It must fall within the 1 year manufactures warranty period or 2 year warranty (if 2 year extended warranty is purchased). Exchanges are subject to additional costs. Please allow 10-14 buiness days for the exchange process.

Yes! GRIND offers a 1 year manufactures warranty on the machine. You are able to purchase an extended 2 year warranty for additional coverage.

 

Warranty can be purchased at the time of checkout and up until 30 days after receiving your machine. 

 

To purchase a 2 Year Extended Warranty purchase from our website and use the same name and email address that you used when purchasing the machine.

**You will have 30 days from the delivery of your machine to purchase a protection plan**

Yes, GRIND has a 30 day return policy that starts once you receive your machine. The GRIND Machine must be repackaged in it's original packaging. All returns will be charged $500 to cover return shipping and restocking fees.

You are not able to return your machine after 30 days.

*Please allow up to 5-10 business days to receive your refund after we have inspected the machine. 

All returns and exchanges require packaging for the carrier. If you do not have the orginal packaging you will be charged an additional cost for us to provide you with packaging for pickup.
